"MESA has supported and guided me as a first-generation college student. It's been
great to have so much support while entering something entirely new to me. They also
helped me connect with new people, which made the transition smoother. They provided
a lot of financial support with supplies and books and helped me earn a great scholarship
that covers my community college expenses!" "MESA provided me the necessary tools...to advance forward towards my dream career;
without them, I would have been lost in what to do." "I am very thankful for the opportunity to be a part of such a beautiful community,
and I am excited for future MESA members. For new students, I would be advising them
to take in the supportive community and make friends within MESA; they are all amazing
people with bright futures." "MESA has supported me in more ways than I can count. They helped me figure out which
classes I needed to take to transfer to my dream school - something I was able to
accomplish thanks to their guidance. Through MESA, I had the chance to explore different
internships, visit science labs, and experience the STEM field beyond the classroom.
On top of that, they created a space where I could study, get tutoring, and feel part
of a community that believed in my potential." |
