New Student Orientation
Welcome to WVC!
We’re excited to have you here and are committed to supporting you as you begin this new chapter. Before fall quarter begins, be sure to participate in WVC’s two-part orientation to help you successfully navigate your first year. New students are strongly encouraged to attend.
New student orientation is held at both the Wenatchee and Omak campuses.

Part 1: Morning Orientation Sessions
Facilitated in both Spanish and English
The morning session includes a series of workshops designed for you and your family or support network. These workshops provide important academic information, introduce key services, resources, and campus facilities, and offer a chance to connect with other new students - all while having fun before you embark on your educational path.
Parte 1: Sesiones de Orientación por la Mañana
Ofrecidas en español e inglés.
La sesión matutina incluye una serie de talleres diseñados para ti y tu familia o red de apoyo. Estos talleres brindan información académica importante, presentan servicios clave, recursos e instalaciones del campus, y ofrecen la oportunidad de conectar con otros estudiantes nuevos, todo mientras se divierten antes de comenzar su camino educativo.
Part 2: Student Readiness Fair
You will have the chance to meet WVC faculty and staff and prepare for the first day of classes. Do you have the textbooks you need? Do you know where all your classes are? Have you logged into your student email account? We can help! There will be opportunities to win prizes and get free food!
Families and supporters welcome to all events.
