Financial Aid Disbursements
How to get your financial aid refund through BankMobile
For students receiving financial aid, your tuition and fees are paid first, and if there is a remaining balance (a "financial aid refund"), Wenatchee Valley College will send that amount to BankMobile, who then provides disbursement of Financial Aid funds to students. In order for students to receive their financial aid funds they will need to sign up for one of the following options:
- Electronic Deposit To your personal bank account
- Electronic Deposit to a BankMobile account
- Paper check mailed to you
BankMobile Kit
All financial aid eligible students will be mailed an enrollment kit by BankMobile and will be asked to select a refund delivery preference from the options listed above. Here’s what you need to do:
1. Update your mailing address
BankMobile will mail a Refund Selection Kit to the current address you have on file with Registration Office. If you’re not sure that we have your current mailing address, please take a moment to check your MyWVC portal or contact the Registration Office at (509) 682-6806.
2. Look for the Refund Selection Kit
Mailing of Refund Selection Kits is done by BankMobile. It will include the Wenatchee Valley College logo.
3. Visit RefundSelection.com to make your choice
Once your kit arrives, go to RefundSelection.com and enter your personal code to get started. Then simply select how you’d like to receive your money.

*Important Reminder*: WVC nor BankMobile will ever initiate a phone call to you to ask for your account information or social security number or to set you up for Direct Deposit. WVC advises that you NEVER give out your bank account or other personal information over the phone on an unsolicited call.
Accessing Funds
You may access your financial aid refund once it has been deposited into your account.
Frequently Asked Questions
Students who have completed all the required steps for financial aid and are eligible to receive aid (grants, student loans, scholarships, etc.) will be sent a BankMobile Disbursements Refund Selection Kit. This kitcontains information regarding your options for receiving your refund (disbursement) while you are attending Wenatchee Valley College. (Note: For the upcoming academic year, Wenatchee Valley College does not start sending student information to BMTX, Inc. for your refund kits until mid -July)
The kit will be sent to the address on file with the WVC Admissions Office. Make sure you have your current address on file with the Registration Office. Students should make sure that their information (address, phone number, e-mail, etc.) is correct on the MyWVC portal. Do not discard your personal refund code contained in the Refund Selection Kit. Go to RefundSelection.com and click the “GET STARTED” button on the top right-side of the page. Follow the instructions with the packet.
1 - DEPOSIT TO AN EXISTING ACCOUNT - Money is transferred to an existing account the same business day BMTX, Inc. receives funds from your school. Typically, it takes 1 - 2 business days for the receiving bank to credit the money to your account.
2 - DEPOSIT TO A BANKMOBILE VIBE CHECKING ACCOUNT - If open a BankMobile Vibe Checking Account (upon identity verification), money is deposited the same business day BMTX, Inc. receives funds from your school.
3 - PAPER CHECK DELIVERED BY USPS - A check is mailed the same business day BMTX, Inc. receives frunds from your school, provided receipt is within daily cutoff times. Typically, it takes 5 - 7 business days for the check to arrive, depending on USPS First-Class® delivery timeframes.
NOTE: You may change your refund preference at any time. Go to https://bankmobilevibe.com/. Then select “Refunds” and “Refund Preference.”
The timing will vary depending upon your refund selection. The earliest to receive your financial aid disbursement at the start of the quarter will be the afternoon of the first day of the quarter.
